Understanding the Problem
I started with qualitative interviews with hotel managers at properties in Los Angeles and San Jose. A consistent theme emerged: the existing promotions tool was too rigid. Managers wanted to set date-specific promotions, apply them to specific room types, and preview what guests would see before publishing.
Promotions Page Design
The redesigned promotions page gave hotel managers control over every element of their promotion — date ranges, room type selection, discount type (percentage or flat), blackout dates, and a live preview. The interaction model was designed to feel familiar to anyone who'd used a modern CMS.



Internal Loading Tool & App Page
I also designed an internal promotions loading tool for the Hotwire operations team, complete with a live preview of how promotions would appear to consumers. Additionally, I designed the hotel partner app page to give properties a polished marketing surface within the Hotwire ecosystem.
